- Finding urgent accommodation upon arrival to Canada
- Short-term housing search based on the needs and budget
- Finding permanent housing options in BC: non-market affordable and subsidized housing in BC, market rentals
- Understanding the rental market, rental process and renters’ rights in BC
- Community referrals to other nonhousing services (settlement, employment, legal, language, mental health support)
- Referral and access to relevant YWCA services for refugee women
Eligibility: Refugee claimants (individuals who submitted their claim for refugee protection) and Asylum seekers (individuals intending to submit refugee claim), not gender dependent in Surrey and Delta.
Languages Offered: English / French / Ukrainian (other languages available with the interpretation assistance)
