Provided by YWCA Metro Vancouver
- Crabtree Corner Housing: YWCA Crabtree Corner Housing is a transitional, supportive program for pregnant and parenting women in recovery, and is based on a harm reduction model. Participants identify what wellness means to them and work to achieve this. All residents must complete and revise wellness plans with staff on a consistent basis. The maximum length of stay is from pregnancy to nine months postpartum. Mothers who are working on regaining custody are able to stay for up to 12 months. More information about eligibility and access is available online.
- Violence Prevention Group: An eight-week information and support group for self-identifying women who have experienced abuse by an intimate partner.
- Violence Prevention Support Staff: One-to-one and group support for women living in Vancouver who have experienced abuse in an intimate relationship, including relationships with romantic partners, parents or caregivers. Support can include emotional support, safety planning, finding affordable housing, accessing income assistance, navigating legal systems and accompaniments to court and other appointments.
