Provides expert ADHD assessments and diagnosis (in-person and via video), care and ongoing support, including establishing medication treatment for ADHD by telephone for White Rock patients aged 18 and older. Assessments for ADHD involve a comprehensive Psychiatric assessment and include testing to establish a cognitive profile. By focusing on specific needs, the aim is to improve daily functioning and enhance overall quality of life.

How Does it Work
  • Primary care provider or specialist sends a completed referral form (see below) to Adult ADHD Clinic
  • Clinic will connect with patient to book the initial assessment
  • A diagnosis and treatment recommendations will be established during the initial assessment
  • Assessment report is sent to the referring practitioner while follow-up care is provided to establish medication treatment for ADHD if the patient/referring practitioner requests
  • Treatment approach is evaluated to ensure the patient has improved function

Cost: The psychiatric evaluation portion of the Adult ADHD Assessment is covered by the BC Medical Services Plan (MSP). However, the assessment includes cognitive testing which is not covered, and costs $380.
