Mobile Dental Hygiene - Lower Mainland

Provided by Strictly Prevention Inc.

Provides preventive mobile dental hygiene services.
They deliver dental hygiene services to individuals who are limited in accessing conventional preventive dental care due to cognitive or physical barriers. They provide care to home bound individuals, special needs individuals and elders who reside in Long Term Care Facilities in the Greater Vancouver Area.

The following services are provided:
  • Oral Assessment
  • Dental Debridement
  • Oral Disease Management
  • Oral Cancer Screening
  • Interim Stabilization Therapy
  • Denture Care
  • Oral Health Education
  • Referrals to other health professionals (if necessary)

These services are fee for service based, however, they do accept extended health benefits. Fees vary based on the oral health status of each patient, however, generally their dental hygiene visits are approximately $275. This would include our full scope of care and home visit fee. If they are going to a facility, home or neighbourhood where they are seeing more than one patient during their visit, they do not charge our home visit fee, which lowers the cost to approximately $225. Their fees are approximately 15% below the BC Dentists Fee Guide, and they will take care of claiming to individual insurance plans so that patients are reimbursed promptly for that which their plans cover.
